Content

This course is verified by Probitas Authentication as meeting the AS9104/3A requirements for continuing Professional Development.

This three-day course is designed to bring together key quality systems, processes, and methodologies to show how they work as part of a system to focus on defect prevention. It supports Quality Leaders at all levels of an organization in understanding how these tools and processes work, and the characteristics of successful deployment. It’s also recommended for other functions with accountability for the quality of the design, production, assembly, and test areas of the organization, including those in Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Business Improvement.

The course uses the key Quality Management activities included in AS13100 and its reference manuals and organizes them in their natural sequence from Design and Advanced Product Quality Planning through to product delivery showing how they work as a system with outputs from one activity forming the input of another. Hands-on case studies illustrate how the quality tools are to be carried out and how to evaluate the current practice inside the organization. It also provides a business context for Quality in terms of both business performance and product safety.

AS13100 requirements are referenced and links to the corresponding reference manuals are provided. Learner should also consult the the AS13100 Requirements course for a detailed explanation of each requirement. (See the AESQ Website for more details at aesq.sae-itc.com.).
